PROGRAM OF EVENTS
FRIDAY MORNING – Join us for a morning drive to an eclectic collection of vintage cars, steam traction engines along with a large collection of enameled garagenalia at a private property in Chirnside Park. Followed by a leisurely lunch at the Dorset Gardens Hotel in Croydon.
FRIDAY EVENING - We look forward to meeting you all at "The Manningham Club Hotel" at 1 Thompsons Road Bulleen for a social get together and attendance at the Annual General Meeting.
SATURDAY MORNING - Meet at Como Park North for our 36th annual 356 display and sit down in the marquee to enjoy a boxed lunch. Display of Porsche 356 cars and judging to be conducted.
SATURDAY EVENING – Pre-dinner drinks and canapés at Porsche Cars Brighton, 855 Nepean Hwy, Brighton 3186 followed by a 3-course meal.
SUNDAY MORNING - Meet at Walker Park Car Park Nunawading at 9.15am for a 9.45am start for a morning run to the Killara Estate Winery at Seville in the Yarra Valley where we can display our 356’s on the grassed area in front of the vines and enjoy a simple lunch selection of favorite Pizza items.

A short drive from Nunawading to the Chirnside Park property where the collection is housed in a large warehouse. The owner has graciously allowed our club to visit his property to view this amazing collection of Vintage cars, Vintage Steam engines and tractors and large collection of garagenalia.
After the visit we can enjoy a “pub” lunch at the Dorset Gardens Hotel, 335 Dorset Rd, Croydon at your own expense.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING,
MEET AND GREET SESSION
TIME: “Meet and Greet” will be at 6:00 pm onwards and mingle prior to the AGM. Our Annual General Meeting will commence at 7.00 pm.

COST: This is a "pay your own way" night and all are welcome at this 356 get together.

SATURDAY MORNING
PARADE DISPLAY AND LUNCH AT COMO PARK
ARRIVAL TIME: 9:30 - 10:30 am Please note – Gate for vehicle entry will close at 10.30am
PLACE: Como Park North, Williams Road North & Alexandra Avenue South Yarra
ACTION: The plan is to have an informal get-together of Porsche owners and enthusiasts whilst enjoying a light sit-down boxed lunch at 12.00 noon in the marquee surrounded by Ferry’s finest. Informal judging of 356s’ will be conducted. The top car of the day will be awarded the magnificent “Car of the Show Trophy” at Saturday night’s function courtesy of Shannons Insurance.
If your Porsche 356 is “pre restoration” you should not feel shy about bringing it along. In fact, most of our members have well-used vehicles. Goodie bags available on arrival.
REGISTRATION:
We can only reserve a “goodie bag” for financial members who forward a copy of their entry form confirming payment by 11th November 2023 and bring their 356 on the day. This is required, as we must order metal badges and other items. The cost per car is $40.00.
JUDGING: We propose to continue the informal judging system that was introduced some years ago which recognise the good, the better and the best cars without giving everybody a nervous breakdown.
LUNCH C0ST: $20.00 per head for boxed lunch of your choice.

36th AUSTRALIAN PORSCHE 356 REGISTER INC ANNUAL DINNER
INCLUDES TROPHY PRESENTATION
You are invited to attend the 36th Parade Annual Dinner at Porsche Centre Brighton,
Pre-dinner drinks and canapés will be served from 6.30pm and a 3-course dinner commencing at 7.00pm. Trophy presentation and visual display will be conducted during the evening along with a club raffle.
TIME: 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm Saturday 25th November 2023

COST: $120.00 per head including pre-dinner drinks, canapés, plus a 3-course meal and wines.

356 DRIVE & LUNCH
DESTINATION: Enjoy a leisurely drive to the Killara Estate Winery, c/r Warburton Hwy & Sunnyside Road, Seville East 3139.
The Killara Estate was once owned by four-time Australian Grand Prix Champion, Lex Davison, and he, along with Lynden Duckett and Earl Davey-Milne, was amongst the first members of the VSCC racing drivers to participate in the first VSCC ¼ mile sprint meeting in Jan 1946 at the Killara Park property. Better known today as Killara Park Estate Winery.

35th AUSTRALIAN PORSCHE 356 REGISTER PARADE JUDGING
All cars entered for judging must be present at Como Park. We hope to complete judging by 2.30pm and trophy presentation to be conducted Saturday night at the Porsche Centre Brighton.
We do not inspect the underside of cars, but we do judge the engine, passenger, and luggage compartment. In the past, the lack of attention to the engine compartment has often been the difference between cars which have scored well, and those which have not. We also like originality!
As in earlier years, we will again have a Masterclass which includes winners and Gold Awards from the last three years. These cars are not eligible to win the COS Trophy or Gold Awards again during this period.
Entry into this section is automatic and cars/owners can only win a Masterclass section once. The objective is to give everyone a fair chance of winning an award. Once you have won one of the top awards, we feel that others should be given an opportunity.
